Journal of Biological Chemistry paper examines enhancement of immunity to coronaviruses through nutritional and pharmacological interventions that enhance NAD levels
MIRAILAB’s work on the potential effectiveness of NMN in fighting COVID-19 and other viral infections takes inspiration in part from this paper, published on October 13, 2020. The coenzyme NAD is essential in all cells, and since NMN is an essential component of NAD, it may therefore have a role in fighting infection though the potential nutritional and pharmacological agency described in the paper.
